Gerry Hernandez

Paralegal
Gerry is a paralegal with over 20 years of experience specializing in family law. Her passion for helping the clients by being empathic, compassionate, and understanding is what makes her the skilled paralegal she is. Her commitment to the paralegal profession has led to many years of active involvement with the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association.
While Gerry worked in other areas of the law prior to family law, she quickly discovered that her work with family law clients brought her the most satisfaction. After working for large and small family law firms, Gerry decided to become a freelance paralegal and start her own business, Family Law Paralegal Services.
Outside of her work as a paralegal, Gerry is an active community volunteer. She gives freely of her time to two worthwhile non-profit organizations, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL) Family Law Court Program. She also volunteers for a couple of committees within the HOA in her residential community.
When Gerry is not working or volunteering, she supports her Denver Broncos and Nebraska Huskers. She loves live music, home decorating, gardening and hanging out with her two chihuahuas, Shelby & Betsy.
